Pooya Polymer Tehran Company (PPT) (Private Joint Stock) was established in 1999 with the aim of promoting the use of polymeric materials in the production of various types of masterbatches and compounds, through a joint investment between the Iranian private sector and South Korea. The nominal annual capacity of this company and its subsidiaries exceeds 120,000 tons in the field of producing various polymer blends and engineering compounds used in polymer industries.
Pooya Polymer Tehran, as one of the pioneering manufacturing companies in the polymer compounding industry, has obtained international standards and implemented quality management systems, safety and health systems, and has acquired health certificates for its products from the Food and Drug Administration and the European Union. This has been achieved through the use of experienced and skilled local workforce, unique machinery and equipment, as well as the technical knowledge and valuable experience of its Korean partner.
